This plant is an autotroph. An autotroph can be any organism capable of self-nourishment by using inorganic materials as a source of nutrients and using photosynthesis or chemosynthesis as a source of energy, as most plants and certain bacteria.








Off to the right is a stem off a house plant. This stem is known as a herbaceous stem. The plant stem is a complex structure that serves many important jobs in the life functioning of a cell. Herbaceous stems are plant structures that have been modified to serve the same function as leaves and occur in a number of different plant groups.









A thorn is a sharp, rigid process of a plant. It's a leafless modified branch. Thorns tend to protect plants from hervibores. This thorn in particular can pierce an animals skin.










To the left is an example of a woody stem. Woody stems are the stems of plants that have been growing for two years or more. After two years, a plant stem thickensto accomodate growth and increase circulation in a plant.

This is a group of fireflies. Fireflies are a common night insect, Insects are arthropds having hard exoskeleton and a three part body. The head, thorax, and abdomen.

To the left is a bee. Bees are pollinators that moves pollen from the male anthers of a flower to the female stigma of a flower to accomplish fertilization. A pollinator is known as biotic agents.

This is a female pine cone. This is an example of a gymnosperm cone. this is a female pine cone because a male cone has the presence of pollen. Male cones are also smaller than females and the females produce seeds.

This is an Arthropod. Its a centipede I found in my house.An arthropod is an invertebrate that has a segmented body, and joint attachments called appendages

Fruit- Fleshly with seed can be subdivided again into those formed from a single flower and those formed from a group of flowers. They can have one seed or several seeds in it.

Endotherm is an organism that generates heat to maintain its body temperature, typically above the temperature of its surroundings. This is my dog Lady (A Collie). She maintains a constant body temperature.
