This is a fruit that is fleshy and contains seeds. Pretty self-explanatory. :)
Echinoderm- tissue produced in the seeds of most flowering plants. These beans kinda look like them.
This is an example of the cambium. A cambium is a layer/layers of tissue also known as lateral meristems that are the source of cells for secondary growth.
This is my example of a conifer leaf. A conifer plant is one that bears cones. I couldn't get the right one... but I think this will do...
Deciduous leaf- a leaf that falls off when it has reached maturity.
This leaf is my definition of a C4 plant. A C4 plant is a plant that prefaces the Calvin cycle with reaction that incorporate carbon dioxide into for-carbon compounds.
This is my example of a dicot plant with flowers and leaves. A dicot plant is a name for a group of flowering plants whose seed typically had two embryonic leaves.
I used this plant as an example of an autotroph. An autotroph is an organism that produces comples organic compounds from simple inorganic molecules using energy from light by photosynthesis or inorganis chemical reactions.
This chicken egg was the best example of an amniotic egg I could find. An amniotic egg is the type of egg produced by reptiles, birds, and other egg-laying mammals.
Stephanie, your blog looks great. I would note, however, that echinoderms are typically spined animals, such as urchin, sand dollars and starfish. Refer to your text/internet for further information on these structures.
