Pholem

This picture of flowers is an example of pholem. Pholem is the living tissue found in all vascular plants that carries organic nutrients, mostly sugar, to all parts of the plant where needed. One of the main functions of pholem is the transport of glucose and starch made during photosynthesis.
Thorn of a Plant

Thorns of a plant are altered and modified branches of stems. Thorns represent the modification of an axillary shoot system. This is where the leaves are reduced and die quickly and the stems are heavily sclerified and grow for only a limited time. Thorns also appear to protect the plant against herbivores.
Autotroph

These flowers are an example of autotrophs. They produce complex organic compounds by using energy from light, such as photosynthesis. By being an autotroph, these floweres are able to synchorize its own food from inorganic substances to maintain its growth, color, and structure.

Deciduous leafs are leafs that fall off a tree that lose their leafs seasonally. Deciduous trees lose thier leafs because it becomes difficult for a tree to maintain its water balance since their is less water in the soil. Therefore the leafs must go.
Flower Ovary
A flower ovary is the part of the female reproductive organ of the flower. Flower ovaries come in all different shapes and sizes. The purpose of the flower ovary is to protect the ovule and will become fruit once fertillisation has taken place.

Epithelial Tissue

My arm is an example of epithelial tissue. Epithelial tissue is made up of closely packed cells that covers the whole body. The tissue acts as a coating to cover the lining of all internal and external body surfaces. Stratified and simple epithelium are the two types of epithelial tissue. Stratified contains two or more cells, such as the skin, and simple epithelium is only one cell thick.
Basidiomycetes is one of the major classes of fungal organisms that includes mushrooms, shelf fungi, puffballs, and a variety of other macrofungi. The mushrooms in the Basidiomycetes have spores that are attached to basidia, which are specialized cells on the spore-bearing surface.
Nate, I would question your using the yellow flowers as autotrophs. The flowers don't typically make their own food, at least not that I am aware, as they don't contain the green pigment that produces and captures energy for the plant. Instead, you could have used the actual plant itself as an example of an autotroph. Thanks for your post.
