Telmy Alfaro's 2nd Collection Terms

This is a tendril of a plant. It curls around on an object to grow and support on the objects cause of the weight.
The basidiomycete consists of fungi that produce spores that are formed outside . A mushroom from outdoors is an example of basidiomycete

My arm is an example of epithelial tissue. Epithelial tissues are cells that are build up very close together to cover and protect our bodies.


This leaf is an example of phloem. It shows phloem because from the roots it carries its nutrients that goes through the stem all the way to the leaves of the plant.











The bamboo stick is an example of a herbaceous stem. Herbaceous stem is a stem that is not wood type and the the leaves are just attached to the stem.





















In the center of the flower is pollen. Pollen produces the sperm cells of seed plant. Pollen produces more plants, flowers, trees, etc.









The cactus is a xerophyte plant. It survive in the in dry, very low moisture, and very hot weather condition. Xerophtye is a desert type of plant.















This fish is an example of an ectotherm. The fishes regulate their body to the water temperature or by exchanging heat with its surroundings










This is an example of striated muscle fiber. The fiber muscle are parallel.It is controlled by the nervous system.















This will be an example of an amniotic egg. Amniotic eggs that are carried be the female that protects and aid the membrane. It's protected by the hard shell.
